“Abu Simbel was a highlight of our trip. Our guy explained the history of the location, and even the hieroglyphics were explained to us and what they meant. The improvement I would suggest would be for lunch. The place that our guy took us was very nice and very friendly, but the barbecued chicken and grilled fish was overdone for our taste meaning that a lot of the meat was on the grill so long that it turned to charcoal. Everything else that we ate was very good, even better than the hotel that we stayed in.”
