Our opportunity for a great experience was compromised by the tour group being made up by an English language cohort and a Spanish speaking cohort. This was unexpected and unwanted change at the time of boarding the bus. The result was a less than fulsome sharing of information during the tour which lessened the overall experience.”

“we took the West tour with Tony , who was in fact one of the best guides I have ever encountered, he was very knowledgeable, funny and in general a great person. we stopped in so many places , like small cute towns , amazing viewpoints and more. we also got info on the way about random things like flowers and crops that are seen in the road and even a bit of history about Madeira. in my honest opinion, this tour worth even more than the price it listed for :) 10/10”

“The guide Paulo was really good he was funny friendly and knew his history. He even took time to recommend good locations where good pictures can be taken and took photos of all 47 guests which I thought was very accomodating on his part. However the bus journey was not comfortable as the bus was an older model and the air condition was not working and the bus was very hot and journeys which was long was uncomfortable! There were also no charging ports on the bus to charge our phones. This was what let the tour down”

“Don't waste your time and money. Even though tour is supposed to be in English, 60% in Portuguese. Difficult to hear guide in vehicle, no audio system. Guide recited rosary in vehicle. Very poor judgment. Dropped us off at Fatima , said see you in an hour. Did so during a scheduled mass where entrance to many areas closed. I could continue but ......”

“Amazing trip with our guide Rajip!! He was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable and was very committed to us having a great tour. We saw the Moorish Castle, Peña Palace and Gardens as well as the sights at Quinta da Regaleira. He also took us to a very nice restaurant not far from the coast for a very authentic Portuguese lunch. The drive was quite smooth in a very comfortable sedan with AC. Definitely wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking and stair climbing, especially at the Moorish Castle.”
